J Gernetzke & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1989 as a traditional executive search firm. We are here to assist you in advancing your career, in whatever way we can.
Generally speaking, search firms work for the Employer Client not you! It is the Employer that pays the fee. The basic role of the search firm is to:
- Identify potential candidates
- Pre-qualify candidates against the employer's specifications
- Promote qualified and interested candidates to the employer
- Foster the communication
- Assist the interested parties in reaching an acceptable hiring decision
The reality is that only ONE candidate submitted to a client is going to get THAT job. What about all of the other wonderful highly qualified candidates?
- If one is employed and reasonably content, he/she will want to be made aware of the next viable opportunity.
- If one is employed but discontent, he/she may be frustrated by being rejected and be all the more motivated to make a change, but how? Who has the time to look - confidentially?
- If one is employed and active in the market, his/her frustration may be building with each rejection, wondering what they're doing wrong.
Does this sound like someone you know?
- Are you anxious? Are you in transition and actively looking for a new opportunity? Do you know someone who is?
- Are you feeling trapped? Are you employed, but wanting to reach out for a new opportunity - confidentially? Do you know someone who is?
- Not sure what to do?
- Do you know what to do, but have trouble staying focused (accountable)?
- Do you feel disorganized?
- Do you feel as if you are always "Late to the Party"?
